Navicular Horse needs Help!
My mom’s horse needs your help. Our vet has diagnosed her with Navicular and we have tried several different concepts with our farrier. We are running out of steam here and need some help. Our vet says it’s the end of road. My farrier has tried shoes with wedges and silicone, but it’s not been very successful.
So, tomorrow, my farrier is coming out to put on rolled/rocking (?) shoes with a frog wedge. Is this recommended? I am concerned if this is the right path to take since our vet thinks it’s pointless, but our farrier thinks he can help. If there is a another route, please tell us. We would be so thankful.
