Cracks on the toe.

Well…I have a question.I ask about the issue of the cracks on the toe in others time,but I getting no answer.However,my head do not stop thinking about that one.

The cracks on the toe starts in this way;

And they finish of in this way:

These cracks ever same on the center of the toe.Whereas anybody finds another answer more exact,I believe there cracks are caused by the movement of the heels. Like a metal plate that you folds one and other time until they rip up.

If that is correct, if we stop the heels movement with four or six clips than the coffin bone fracture,we can help the coronet band to sound. What do you think?

A second question: I can see these cracks on the toe,in the most of the times, the hoof wall has a tipical curve and is not rare a great flare with WLD.

I’m wondering what is the rol of the deep flexor tendon in this curve or this flare. Can this traction to increase the separation of the wall? If this is correct,the managing of the tendon traction should be fundamental for the treatment of the cracks on the toe. What do you think about this one? Any thougths?
