Open To All Suggestions and Input

Hey all, I’m brand new to the forum, and would love to hear some honest opinions on a horse that I’m having lameness issues with.

The following are some pictures that I’ve taken today:

I have video also, but will wait to see if it’s needed. He’s not lame at a walk, but definitely at a trot, and is worse going to the left (counter clockwise).

He’s approximately 12 yrs old (not registered, don’t know age exactly) and is used for moderate trail riding (6-10 hours/week over varied terrain). He’s had the summer off due to his issues and my schedule. He has been barefoot for at least the past 7 yrs that I’ve owned him, not sure if his previous owner ever put shoes on him, but he wasn’t ridden much before I got him, so I suspect not.

Any questions, I’m happy to answer. All suggestions, I’m willing to hear. Thanks.
